Hay Bale Push

Get your team together...it's time for the Hay Bale Push!
Teams of 2-3 compete head-to-head by pushing giant, round hay bales in a race to the finish line.
Two teams will race at a time with the winning team moving on in the competition.  
The final two teams will battle it out for the title!  

Costumes and team names are encouraged to promote this event! The Festival Staff will choose a team from all those entered who display team spirit and enthusiasm!
Cash prizes will be awarded.

1st place bale push winners receive $100
2nd place bale push winners receive $75
$50 award for the Best Team Spirit!

We're keeping the rules simple:
Sign your team up at the Festival Staff Tent prior to the event.
The bale will be pushed inside a 100 foot lane, down and back (200 feet total).  The lane will be 15 feet wide. 
Bales crossing the lane boundaries will result in disqualification.
Participants may wear gloves to protect their hands. 
Teams of maximum of 3 people, men or women or mixed teams.
Single elimination; fastest team will advance.
Participants must be 16 years of age.
Decisions made by the Festival Staff will be final.
