Canaseraga Idol
Contestants must sign up by 11:00 a.m. on Saturday
in order to compete.
The Idol competition grows every year and has become a major crowd pleaser. Local contestants, young and old, compete for terrific cash prizes while being judged by local community members.
You must sign up to participate in this contest.
Sign up sheets are available at Canaseraga Central School Main Office, Mastin's Food Market, or at the Festival Staff Tent on Saturday morning.
ALL PERFORMERS
Please bring your music to the bandstand before the contest begins to have it checked with our sound equipment. We offer iPod capability and a laptop for your CD's.
The 4 age categories are:
0-10 11-15 16-18 Adults
All performers in the 0-10 year old category are winners and will receive $5.
Cash prizes of $10, $15, and $25 are awarded to the top three performers in the 11-14, and 15-18 year old categories.
The top three Adults receive $25, $50, and $75.

Memorize your song if possible.
See if there is a karaoke version of your song so we hear YOU sing! We want to hear your awesome talent!
If you play an instrument, bring it along to play instead of using pre-recorded music.
Be prepared, have confidence, do your best!
