Hairy Women of Klipnocky Contest
(Due to a decline in participation, the format for the Hairy Women Contest will be different in 2016.)
Leolla May Hatfield is moving down south!!! Join us at the Hairy Women of Klipnocky Contest for her final appearance as she chooses members of the audience to participate in Hairy Women activities! Participants will be dressed up and encouraged to embody the spirit that is Leolla May Hatfield. Prizes will be awarded. Join in on the fun. What have you got to lose? You may even leave with some cash!
Scarecrow Walk
New for 2016 is the Scarecrow Walk. This activity encourages participation by dressing up as a scarecrow and walking down Bennett Street to the bandstand at the Festival. Line up will be at 9:45 on Potomac Avenue with the Scarecrow Walk beginning at 10:00 a.m. Judging to be held at the bandstand with cash prizes awarded.
